Lover by Sweetback

don't know where you are
how near or how far
willing to go
it's time for the show
you learn your part, favorite part
it's when you're my lover

don't know where to go
production is slow
have life as a star
contained in a jar
if i lay my head down on your knee
pretend i'm your lover

so many things i want you to think
think about me
the things you don't see
things we take away
baby look at my face
no one can lie like a lover

if i turn away
baby look at my face
no one can lie like a lover

all of my life
it's all in my guy, yeah
nothings takes me higher

touching the sun
is all that i want, yeah
no one takes me higher, yeah
no, no

if there's a way
out of this maze
hand me the key
i'll set me free
touching the sun
all that i want
is to be your lover

GreyBoy in San Diego Tonite

come check out dope music tonite at

1030 Broadway, San Diego, CA 92101

I'LL BE THERE

Greyboy is a bonafide San Diego pioneer, an incredibly talented artist and a bananas dj. He is currently preparing to release his 1st album in nearly 5 years (titled 'Era Correct' his 1st release on Soundlock Recordings). Trust he will be getting a lot of shine this year once the record drops. We would like to presume that most everybody out there is already familiar with ol' boy's work and his irrefutable place in the history of San Diego's music landscape, as well as his pioneering role in the international acid jazz/downtempo/post-hip hop movement of the nineties... but, in case you're not knowin, peep the music...

Who?

Some of you may be familiar with I Monster's music,or maybe you just heard the sample Lupe Fiasco used for "Daydreaming",Either way i thought I'd share this joint with the masses.

ps the album is dope.let me kno if you want it

Oh who is she ?
A misty memory
A haunting face,
Is she a lost embrace ?

Am I in love with just a theme ?
Or is Ayesha just a dream ?
A mystery
Oh who is she ?

Oh who is she ?
A misty memory
A haunting face,
Is she a lost embrace ?

I call her name
Across an endless plain
She'll answer me
Where ever she may be

Somewhere across the sea of time
A love immortal just like mine
Will come to me eternally

Immortal she
Return to me

Who is She? - I Monster

Bloom.

Ever since i acquired this lovely device life has been so much better. For all you Ipod Touch/Iphone users out there i definitely recommend this App.I literally can sit and play with this for hours at a time.Whether your a fan of Brian Eno's ambient music or not this will surely keep you amused. If you never heard of Brian Eno he is the father of ambient music and one of the greatest musical minds of our time.

Unlike most music-creation apps, it doesn't take an existing musical instrument and cram it awkwardly into the iPhone's interface. Instead, it creates a completely new "instrument" designed specifically for the iPhone. Essentially, you're provided with a colored screen and a quiet drone. As you tap the screen in various places, different tones play depending on where you tapped. They then loop, creating a unique piece of music on the fly, one that changes gradually on its own once you stop tapping.

You can also just let it create music on its own, coming up with a new, unique piece every time you run it. It's also beautiful, with the tones appearing as colored spots that slowly fade. It's as satisfying to actively play with as it is to let do its own thing.

Bloom is available on the App Store now for $3.99, and if you're a fan of ambient music or music in general, you'll be wanting to get it right now.
